Fitness Programs for Seniors
Seniors who stay active, using fitness and exercise programs, are often provided with many health benefits that were seemingly impossible to gain before. If the elderly stay fit, they also often have greater self-esteem and comfort in their day-to-day lives.We know this to be true at Avamere Rehab of King City, and we help our senior citizens accomplish this goal in two ways. We work to provide an intense rehabilitation service to our guests, to heal and restore muscle function and strength. This is often a short-term program. The second way we help our seniors is through personal exercise programs for individuals with us on a long-term program, in order to make their daily living more comfortable.
The exercises we use at our King City senior community are focused on improving an individual’s endurance without placing undue strain on their body. We know that as a person grows older, their bodies become weaker, and we know it’s important to put emphasis on those programs that strengthen muscle tone.
